Lisa trains both animal and human teams for Animal Assisted Intervention work and was a regular Humane Educator in the Yorktown School and Mahopac School Districts.
As the former Director of HART Programs, Inc. Lisa set up various Animal Assisted Intervention Programs in the Hudson Valley and NYC areas.
As a Pet Partners Certified Evaluator and Certified Instructor, Lisa teaches and evaluates teams for the rewarding work of Animal Assisted Interventions . As a registered Pet Partner with all three of her dogs Lisa has done well over 300+ visits with her pets including hospitals, schools, nursing homes, group homes, residential care facilities for children with HIV, crisis response at the Family Assistance Center post 9/11. Lisa is also a registered American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. And she done lectures at Green Chimneys either for the Mercy College AAT course or for the Professional Group Lecture Series; and has been called in by local businesses like UPS to help prevent dog bites.
