We all get anxious sometimes. Life sometimes throws us curve-balls from all directions, new situations can be scary, and sometimes you just don’t know why you need a hug: you just do.
What’s true for us is as true – if not more so – for our dogs.
It’s heartbreaking to see your dog in obvious distress especially when you can’t figure out what’s wrong – I’ve been there with my dogs and a good portion of my private practice is based on helping clients pinpoint and treat anxiety in their own dogs.
