We just wanted to put up a quick post to welcome everyone to our new website design and to thank everyone for the really kind words they’ve already sent our way.
First things first: as you can see when we said it was quite a different design than before we weren’t yanking your chains.
(Actually, we’d never yank your chains. 1.) We don’t believe in that kind of training and, 2.) It doesn’t work in the long run.)
What we were really looking for was a design that was readable, had really good typography, and made it easy to find all the really good content we already have on the site as well as the stuff coming down the pike.
We think we found it.
If you look to the right, you can see where we not only have made it easier to subscribe to us, but also have dedicated sections to Ask Professor Boo, the best entries from my blog, and both training and behavior tips. In addition, the last ten or so entries to my blog are listed to the far right to make them easy to get to and read.
We’ve got a lot of good content on the site, but it was buried here and there and this will make things a whole lot easier for folks stopping by.
Also on the right, you’ll notice that we’ve really pared back the number of categories to the essential few to make them easier to navigate.
All of this work was designed to make things faster and easier for you and we’re really happy with the way things have turned out.
