First of all – thanks to everyone who has complimented us on our new website! It’s always nice to know that people are enjoying the work we’re putting into things behind the scenes.
It’s taken awhile for us to get our sea legs with the new software behind the website, but now that we have we’re really able to see the benefits of all the hard work in that traffic is way up and the search engines (especially Google) are now really thrilled with things.
All that said, we’re still not done.
Some have written in to notice that we’re starting to make subtle changes to the site, so we felt it was time to let the cat out of the bag: the changes that we’re making are all in preparation for rolling out a large-scale overhaul of the website – our first ever, since we’ve always been incrementally updating the same basic design.
In the next couple of days you’ll notice a change in how the Three Dogs website looks. Gone will be the classic design, look and feel and in its place we’ll be replacing it with a layout and design that we think is both easier to read and will make it easier to get to all the great content we already have on our site as well as make it easier to get to all the great stuff we’ve got in the pipeline.
Here’s a quick teaser screenshot of what to expect:
There might be some hiccups here and there once we transition over to the site design, but we’re really happy with it and hope you will be too.
Let us know what you think!
