Happy New Year, all! Even though we’ve been closed for the holidays we’ve been super-busy behind the scenes putting into place the first of all the new, cool things we have planned for 2010.
The first couple things we’ve done won’t actually be obvious but actually required quite a bit of work – we moved the website from static HTML to a WordPress-based content management system and moved our website and e-mail hosting from one company to another. The upside of these changes will be that not only will be website be much faster for you to load but it will also be a lot easier for us to update.
The first change that we’ve made that will be obvious is that in the next day or so we’ll be moving from using Google Checkout as our online merchant account to Amazon Payments:
The benefit of this is that it will allow people who already have accounts with Amazon to use their existing information to enroll with us online. Since most everyone already has an Amazon account this seemed the easiest way to make things more convenient for folks.
We’ve got a whole bunch of other cool changes lined up for 2010 but Lisa doesn’t want me to spoil any surprises!
